Caton-with-Littledale Parish Council has published the draft Caton-with-Littledale Neighbourhood Development Plan for formal consultation.  The consultation period runs for six weeks from Friday 7th May 2021 to 5pm Sunday 20th June 2021. 

The draft plan and all relevant documentation are provided on this website.

Local residents may request printed copies from the Victoria Institute.

A Representation Form is provided for comments.  The Parish Council also welcomes comments by email or letter.  All emails should be sent to the Steering Group at Written responses should be sent to the Parish Clerk at 23 Maplewood Avenue, Preesall, Poulton-le-Fylde, FY6 0PU.

After this public consultation, the Draft Neighbourhood Plan will be amended and submitted to Lancaster City Council together with supporting documentation. This will include the Consultation Statement setting out who has been consulted, how the consultation has been undertaken and how the representations received have informed the Plan, and the Basic Conditions statement which details how the plan meets the Basic Conditions of the Town and Country Planning Act. 

Lancaster City Council will then re-consult before the Plan is subjected to an Examination by an Independent Examiner.  Once any further amendments have been made the Plan will be subjected to a local Referendum, and then ‘made’ part of the Development Plan by the Council and used to determine planning applications in Caton-with-Littledale Parish.
