Caton’s former Post Office is now a light, welcoming cafe serving speciality coffee and loose leaf teas, fresh food and homemade cakes. With an emphasis on North West suppliers including Halton Butchers, Carvetii Coffee Roasters (Keswick), Lovingly Artisan (Kendal) and home baked cakes you can be sure of great food and drink.
Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9am – 4pm.
The Old Post Office Cafe is situated in the heart of the village, adjacent to the Millennium Cycle Way and only a short walk to the Crook o’ Lune beauty spot. Free and easy parking is available in the village which is only 3 miles from M6 (Junction 34) making it an ideal spot to break your journey.
Option to eat in or take away with outdoor seating on dry days.
Accessible entrance, cyclists, walkers and dogs welcome.
