Millennium Way Improvements Display and Consultation
Our Environment Group has been working with Lancashire County Council to propose a range of improvements along the Millennium Way – now often called The Greenway – especially as so many trees came down in winter storms and more are due to be felled for saftety reasons (ash dieback). Ideas include opening up river views, planting trees and wildflowera for more interest and seasonal colour, extra benches with improved seating areas, and more. What do you think? Please come and talk to residents in the Environment Group, parish councillors and other local people about the development of this much-loved part of our area. Victoria Institute, Friday 2 September 6-8pm, Saturday 3 September 10am-4pm or Monday 5 September 6-8pm.
