NATIONAL MEADOWS DAY – JULY 1ST
Come along to an informal and relaxed guided walk around Hermitage Field Community Meadow on National meadows day, Saturday July 1 st at 2.00 – 3.30pm. Booking is essential as spaces are limited to 20. https://hermitagefieldcommunitymeadow.com/contact/
People will be on hand to answer your questions about the history of the meadow, and to identify the many wildflowers introduced during this ongoing restoration project. The route involves some walking, so sensible shoes are advised. Bring your own sun protection and drinking water. Woodies snack bar is open for refreshments prior to the event. Toilets are available on the picnic site. The 81 bus from Lancaster stops near the meadow. Parking in the car park is limited.
