Caton and Brookhouse Gardening Club
A DVD evening with an environmental flavour. Two years ago we showed a video of the Lune Valley from Hornby to the sea. This time we will see the Lune from its source to Hornby. The film has great views from the air and has lots of information and stories about the area that we all know and love.
Tea and biscuits in with the entry fee.

This year the Remembrance Sunday service takes place in the Victoria Institute. Starting at 10.15.
The Parish Council and other organisations will lay wreaths at the War Memorial after the Two Minutes Silence, at 11am.
Afterwards refreshments will be served in the Victoria Institute. Thanks go to Brookhouse Community Church for organising the refreshments.

EVERY SONG SINGERS
Established in June 2017, we have met at the Victoria Institute, Caton every Mondayy. We are a friendly group who love to sing and enjoy the benefits that group singing brings us.
Session starts with lunch – bring your own savoury food. Drinks and cakes supplied.

Meat to Eat will be starting back on Friday 5th November at the Victoria Institute at the usual time of 12-30. We will then meet on Friday 19th Nov. and Friday 3rd Dec.
After Christmas we will meet on Friday 7th Jan. and Friday 21st Jan. we will then hopefully continue on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each Month at the Victoria Institute.

Churches Together in Caton and Brookhouse (CTICB) will be holding a Service of Remembrance at Brookhouse Methodist Church on Sunday 21st November at 3pm. Hosted by Methodist Minister Rev Emma Holroyd, it will be an opportunity to remember and give thanks for loved ones who have died, especially during the past 18 months of Covid-19.
We would love you to join us for this service. If you would like the name of a loved one read out during the service, or have a photo of them which we can include for a montage to be displayed electronically during the service, please provide the details to Mary Platts at email@example.com.
