Caton and Brookhouse Gardening Club – Speaker Evening @ St Paul's Church Hall
Sep 9 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

This will be a talk by one of our favourite speakers Jacqeline Iddon.

She will be telling us about her life in gardening with all her usual humour and banter.

She usually has plants for sale as well.

As this is our first event since Covid knocked us (and most of the rest of the world) for six and is in a new venue (because our usual venue was taken by someone else), this event will be free and we would love to see all our old members and welcome prospective new members.

Tea and posh biscuits will be served  🙂

Keep your fingers crossed, everyone!!!

PLANT SALE @ The Centre @ Halton
Sep 18 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Halton Gardening Group are holding their next PLANT & BULB SALE on Saturday, September 18th from 2.00 – 4.00 pm on the field at The Centre @ Halton.

Do come to the sale. There will be a range of perennials, grasses and a selection of favourite Spring bulbs.

(Current Covid regulations will be followed)

Please bring your own bags or boxes

Thanks to everyone who supported the Halton Gardening Group’s Plant Sale in May 2021. It was our first event for quite some time so it was really good that so many people came to it. This autumn’s plant sale on 18th September will include a selection of Spring bulbs and perennials and other plants from member’s own gardens.

The proceeds will go towards the group’s current refurbishment project, the Memorial Garden, Foundry lane, Halton, and also to maintain the raised bed in front of the Centre, and the various planters and sites around the village.

People who came to the previous sale were interested in finding out about the plants they wanted to buy, to learn about them and how to look after them. Come and have a chat to our keen amateur gardeners.

If you are interested in helping with our Memorial Garden project or joining our group, please get in touch with Anne Snowden, Secretary HGG, 07523 182617, or email: haltongardeninggroup@gmail.com
