Food & Drink
The community pub, which is popular with both walkers and regulars, has undergone an extensive refurbishment after owners Thwaites and Inntrepreneur Pub Company jointly invested £75k. Everything from the furnishings and the kitchen to the bar and toilets has been renovated. There is even a new dining area where customers old and new can enjoy the freshly prepared home-cooked food.
Steve Wadsworth has been appointed as the new landlord and brings with him over 25 years experience within the pub industry.
“Also key to the pubs continued success was the appointment of the right landlord and Steve with his wealth of experience and friendly personality was the perfect fit.” Andrew Buchanan, director of pub operations at Thwaites, said:” The Black Bull is the latest pub in the estate to be refurbished as part of our £2.4 million investment programme. I’ve no doubt that with Steve at the helm it will be a huge success.”
