Hermitage Field Community Meadow

The Hermitage Field Community Meadow (registered Charity No.1190864) is a small local charity established in August 2020 with a mission to transform the 5.5 acre Hermitage Field at the Crook o’ Lune, which is leased from Lancaster City Council, into a species rich wild flower hay meadow for the benefit of the public and bio-diversity.

The first year has seen a flurry activity to get the project underway, the account of which can be seen on our website www.hermitagefieldcommunitymeadow.com

We are seeking to appoint two new Trustees with the skills to help us drive the project forward.

It is interesting and rewarding, and sometimes challenging voluntary work. If you would like to find out more please contact the Chair of Trustees – Erica Sarney  telephone 01524 812114
