Formal Consultation by Caton-with-Littledale Parish, 15th May to 26th June  2017

Caton-with-Littledale Parish Council has published the Caton-with-Littledale Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan for formal consultation.  The Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan has been prepared by a Steering Group on behalf of the Parish Council following informal public consultation.

The formal consultation period runs for 6 weeks from Monday 15 May 2017 until Monday 26 June 2017.

The documents can be viewed and downloaded from this webpage: Regulation 14 Neighbourhood Plan,  Green Spaces Assessment and Regulation 14 Representation Form.  They are at the top of the documents list, underneath the Parish map and contact details.

Hard (paper) copies of all Neighbourhood Plan Consultation documents can be viewed in The Victoria Institute, Caton, Monday to Friday, 9.30am-3pm during the consultation period.

Representation forms are provided for comments.  Please submit one representation form for each comment. The Parish Council also welcomes comments by email or in writing.  Please submit all comments on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan by email to catonneighbourhoodplan@outlook.com or by post to:  Mrs Gill Mason, Clerk to the Parish Council, 23 Maplewood Avenue, Preesall, Poulton le Fylde, FY6 0PU

All responses must be submitted by 5pm Monday 26 June 2017.

Following the public consultation process on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan, the Plan will be amended and submitted to Lancaster City Council together with supporting documentation.  This will include the Consultation Statement setting out who has been consulted, how the consultation has been undertaken and how the representations received have informed the Plan.

Lancaster City Council will then re-consult, before the Plan is subjected to an Examination by an Independent Examiner.  Once any further amendments have been made the Plan will be subjected to a local Referendum, and then ‘Made’ by the Borough Council and used to determine planning applications in Caton-with-Littledale.

If you require any further information please contact the Steering Group using the email catonneighbourhoodplan@outlook.com or telephone on 01524-771551. Alternatively you may write to the Parish Clerk at the address provided above.
