Brookhouse Badminton Club

Come and join us at the Victoria Institute in Caton for our new badminton season starting on Tuesday 2 September 2014.  We play between 19.30 and 21.30 every week, through to the end of March, and enjoy ladies and men's doubles, plus mixed doubles too.  We are part of the Lancaster, Morecambe and District Badminton League, and for those with a competitive spirit, there are weekly matches against other local clubs in the area.  Playing on a supportive sprung floor with feather shuttles, this is a great way to get fit and socialise a bit - we even end up in the pub sometimes!

Brookhouse Methodist Church

We extend to you a very warm and gracious welcome from the Brookhouse church family.  We believe there is nowhere like the local church when God's presence is anticipated, celebrated and experienced.

Our Vision is to create a church environment where people are cherished, celebrated, equipped, and empowered to live extraordinary lives.

Our mission at BMC is God centred worship, purpose driven discipleship, people empowering ministries, caring fellowship, and reaching the lost for Jesus.

Caton & Brookhouse Gardening Club

The Caton and Brookhouse Gardening Club was founded, way back in 1882 in order to foster an interest in horticulture and to provide a community of interest in the district. It is currently thriving, much less formally, on a fairly fixed annual programme of events, most of which are held in the Victoria Institue in Caton at 7:30pm on the second Thursday in any month. In addition to the annual programme, committee members maintain the planters, millenium trees and the seat outside the old library.

Caton Baby and Toddler Group

Caton Baby and Toddler Group provides a relaxed and friendly meeting place for parents and carers with babies and small children.  It is a welcome time in the week, a chance to relax and chat together while our children play. What we offer is friendship and support, with learning and fun!

Caton Baptist Church

Our chapel is situated by Artlebeck Bridge, between the two villages of Caton and Brookhouse.  We meet every Sunday at 10.30am for morning service, which we try to make relevant for the needs of all.  Morning service is followed by a brew and a chat, where we get to know each other better.  On Sunday evenings we have usually have a prayer meeting at 6.00pm, followed by a service at 6.30pm, and this can take a variety of forms.
